On the 20th of May our new DP2 Shoalbuster Brutus was launched in Gdansk Poland. Early June the vessel shall be towed towards the Netherlands where she will be outfitted at Damen Gorichem.
Shoalbuster Brutus is unique in the following ways:
– First Shoalbuster with Hybrid propulsion
– First DP2 Shoalbuster
– Ultra Shallow with a minimum draft of 2.45m combined with 60T Bollard pull
– First Shoalbuster with IMO Tier III system
– Accommodation for 20 persons
– Green passport
– Towing gear according the Noble denton guidelines
The exact date of delivery is currently unknown due to COVID-19 measures but is expected Q1 – 2021
