News update May 2017

The news section was not updated in quite some time. So let’s have a quick look what happened the last few weeks.

Since the delivery of our newest vessel “Panda” last April, things have been quite busy. Multicat “Panda” left mid-April from the Shipyard for her first assignment. The destination was Burrow in Furness to do anchor handling for the Maersk Connector on the Walney OWP. She was followed by our Shoalbuster “Baloe” which was head into the same direction to work on the same project.

Currently, Multicat “Panda” works on the Baltic sea. She acts as a diving platform to remove two historical wrecks in a preserved way. Due to her large deck and crane capacities, divers can dive with one dive team on each side simultaneously, and both dive teams have a designated crane to assist them when required.

Over in South America, our Multicat “Yogi” is still active on a dredging project for Van Oord. The vessel which is positioned in Santos Brasil where she assists TSHD Geopotes 15. Her scope of work consists out of connecting the TSHD Geopotes 15 to the floating pipeline, floating pipeline maintenance and ploughing works. She is active 24 hours per day 7 days per week.

The last few weeks “Albatross” has been working in short spot jobs assisting & towing barges around in the UAE. She is currently available for charter in the UAE region.

Early 2017 our Shoalbuster “Bommel” has set sail towards Greece in the Mediterranean. She was mobilised here to assist on a project over in Egypt. Currently, she is still active in the same project which is making outfall pipes for a new factory. Her works consist out of e.a anchor handling, towing, surveying, pipe handling, supplying and much more.

Shoalbuster “Barney” is quite the busy lady as well. She is currently active in an Offshore wind park in the Baltic and acts as a multipurpose vessel. “Barney” mostly performs anchor handling and towing operations but also serves as a supplier. The area she is working in is a shallow water area which is where she’s built for.

Last but not least “Baloe” has been going around Europe to do all sorts of small jobs. She was working in Barrow in Furness with the Maersk Connector together with “Panda“. After that project, she performed a few short towages in the North Sea for some of our clients. Latest project completed was a PLGR run for OMM which was located in Barrow in Furness as well and is currently underway to Eemshaven to do a short ploughing campaign.
